Legal Education
Attorney Drucas graduated from Northeastern University in 1969 with a degree in economics and from Suffolk University Law School in 1973. He started his practice in Salem and has maintained an office there since 1974. He specializes in corporate and business law for new entrepreneurs and second—and third-generation family businesses.
Field Expertise
Mr. Drucas has worked with real estate developers and individuals before Zoning and Planning Boards in Swampscott, Marblehead, and Salem, as well as other permit-granting Municipal Boards in the Greater North Shore area.
Mr. Drucas knows that business transactions can make or break their enterprise. A bad loan agreement, stolen proprietary information, or an expensive employee separation matter can destroy an entire business. Attorney Drucas has successfully handled all these issues.
Salem Community Involvement
Attorney Drucas has served on the following nonprofit boards: Salem YMCA, Salem Red Cross, as Chairman of the Board for Project Cope, as Chairman of the Board for Friends of Project Cope, HealthNet, and several others. He was an actively elected Town Meeting Member and Selectmen in Swampscott. He served on the Finance Committee, the First Town Administrator Search Committee, the By-law Committee, and several other committees in Swampscott. He has also served on the Grounds Committee, chaired the Golf Committee, served on the Finance Committee, and the Board of Governors at Tedesco Country Club.
